ABOUT SARA

For the past twelve years, horses have been a major part of Sara's life. Within the past two years, she has reached the international level of equestrian show-jumping, representing Canada on multiple occasions. She spends her winters in Florida competing and travels between Canada and the United States during the spring and summer months, balancing sport with her schoolwork. Having the opportunity to work with many world-class veterinarians that care for equine athletes competing at the highest level of show-jumping has inspired Sara to become an equine veterinarian herself in the future: the profession combines her love of horses and show-jumping with her passion for medicine. From a young age, Sara was always an avid reader and writer: English always being her favourite subject in school and reading taking up her spare time. On this blog, she will share pieces regarding her life as a student athlete along with creative writing and lifestyle entries regarding health and fitness.
